AFRICAN MOTHERHOOD

In pain and agony,
She gave birth to a child,
She gave birth to black,
African motherhood.

In sorrow and bitterness,
She saw white enslave her child,
She couldn't resist because she was weak,
African motherhood.

In rubbish and poverty,
She saw black living in,
She work hard to erase it,but white deprive her,
African motherhood

In corruption and greediness,
They become ambassadors,
The elder one's never cease to stop slaving,
After being suffered by white,
The younger one's complain,
But still the elder never heard their cry,
African motherhood.

She cry,she wept
Hear me,my son
When will i rest in peace,
When you are moving in piece,
I am your mother lamenting,regreting,
African motherhood.
